Print Surfaces

We're pleased to offer two beautiful paper substrates so that you can enjoy your photographic print with the look and feel that best suits your style and decor.

Giclee
Technological advances in printing have made it possible to offer exquisite prints on 100% cotton rag watercolor paper. Acid free and archival, this paper drinks in the ink to produce a rich, deep color with a velvety texture; a perfect match for Christopher's painterly style of photography. The French term "giclee", loosely translated, means fine spray. It creates a soft, smooth, and inviting personality to the print.

The paper has proven to experience no significant color loss or degradation in over 100+ years.

Glossy
For those who prefer the traditional look of a snappy, crisp, glossy print, we've got you covered. We use Fuji Crystal Archive photographic paper for all of our glossy prints. This paper boasts a wider palette of color, prints a deep rich black and holds more detail in the highlights. The paper has a lightfast expectancy of over 80 years.

Mounting

Mounting is the process of adhering a print to a stiff backing substance. We highly recommend that all prints should be mounted before final framing. The prints will not buckle or pucker with changes in humidity. Additionally, mounting will provide some protection to a print during shipping.

16X20 $15.00
20X24 $22.50
20X30 $30.00
30X40 $42.50

Please allow an additional 1-2 days for mounting

Actual Size

Please note that the actual image size will vary based upon the crop or proportions of the photograph.

A longer thinner 20X24 will print to the longer dimension. The remaining dimension will vary according to the artist's crop.

A squarish photo will print to the smaller dimension. For example, it requires a 20X24 sheet of paper to print a 20X20 image.

Larger Sizes

We are happy to accommodate requests for larger size prints, yet, Christopher will have to review the image to determine if it will reproduce to your desired size and maintain its quality. Please call or email for pricing.

Framing

We have temporarily stopped shipping framed prints because of frequent severe damage to larger, heavier packages. In spite of our best efforts to safely package framed prints, including having them double boxed by professional packers, far too many of the shipments arrive damaged. We continue to search for better ways of packing and transporting framed pieces. We will, once again, offer framed, matted pieces as soon as we can find reliable, affordable shipping.

Shipping

Each image is individually printed, signed and packaged. Most prints ship in four days from the time your order is placed. Please allow 14 days for delivery. Orders are processed Monday through Friday.

Orders are shipped in heavy-duty tubes or boxes. We can ship to international addresses. Please call or email for costs.

FedEx, either Ground or Express, is our preferred method of shipment. They can deliver to your business or residence. They cannot, however, deliver to Post Office boxes.
